Greetings to the Del Mar track close to San Diego, as day two for this Breeders’ Cup 2025 has commenced. It also represents the concluding day of elite competition for legendary jockey Frankie Dettori, who is set to retire after an illustrious four-decade career.

This event was expected as among the more competitive editions of this distinctive 7-furlong competition for female horses. Yet, vet checks led to several scratches this morning, such as leading runners Sweet Azteca as well as Tamara.
