Citizens across every 50 US states are preparing to march over the weekend, joined under a central theme: the country is drifting into dictatorship and must be no monarchs in the US.

Widespread Turnout Predicted

Countless participants are anticipated to take part in the anti-authoritarian demonstrations, constituting another iteration of a coalition that previously marched in one of the biggest demonstration days ever recorded in the US. Events are planned across over 2,700 venues, ranging from small towns to major urban centers.

Administration Crackdown and Citizen Opposition

The current president has cracked down in American cities, attempting to introduce national forces while increasing border personnel. The administration is seeking to criminalize dissent, focusing on left-leaning organizations that he claims supporting terrorism or aggressive actions. Municipalities have vigorously pushed back, filing lawsuits to stop federal presence, and residents have hit to the streets to voice opposition against the militarization of their communities.

Political Responses

Allies of the president have sought to portray the anti-authoritarian rallies as unpatriotic and led by anti-fascist groups, the loosely organized political movement, and also asserting that the protests are extending the political deadlock.
